Convocation 2017 Joins 60 Years of Innovation Celebrations

The 114th convocation ceremonies are taking place June 13-17 with more than 5,500 degrees set to be conferred amongst Waterloo’s undergraduate, masters, and doctoral candidates. This year, convocation joins the celebration as the University of Waterloo celebrates 60 years of innovation.

In 1957, Waterloo set out to forge an unconventional path — one shaped by commitment to co-operative education, world-class scholarship, a desire to serve society, and deep connections to industry. There is much to celebrate as a new alumnus, and even more to anticipate.

Whether you are a graduating student, an alumnus, staff, donor, supporter or friend, you are an important part of the University of Waterloo story. Celebrate with us. Share your memories of what has made Waterloo not just a great institution, but a great place to be, a vital part of the community and an anchor of Canada’s innovation corridor. Help us set a course for the next 60 years by sharing your wishes for and predictions of what the coming decades will bring for Waterloo.

Congratulations to our newest alumni and welcome to the club!
