The alumni journey

Message from your Alumni Engagement Officer

Dear alumni and friends,

Spring is an exciting time on campus as students finish classes and our graduating students complete their final term. We take time to celebrate the many accomplishments of our Faculty of Health students with recognition events and our annual Grad Class Send-off. Soon there will be a new group of alumni joining our ever-growing network and I look forward to sharing their stories, too.

In this spring issue of Health Hub, we delve into the stories of three alumni who are pursuing innovative and fulfilling careers. Caroline Wiley (MA '96) has built an extensive networking platform for active women; Shelly-Ann Rampersad (BSc '11) has used her health sciences background to springboard into health-care management; and Marc Lafleur (BSc '14) took the startup route and landed a financial payoff.

There are thousands more stories of alumni on differing journeys, so we also present Class Notes, where we hear what you and your peers have been up to recently. Make sure to check out the upcoming event section for a chance to connect in person with fellow alumni, friends and me!

I look forward to helping you stay connected to the Faculty of Health, whether it is at an event, planning a reunion, through volunteering or simply reading our alumni stories. If I can ever be of assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
