The Renison International Office (RIO) offers a variety of programs and services to Renison and University of Waterloo students. Whether it be volunteering or finding your next adventure, we've got something for you. The Renison International Office also offers immigration advising and support for international students in the English Language Institute (ELI) looking to study here.
Mandate and commitments
Renison International Office seeks to support students through our services and programs by providing information about international learning opportunities.
Through our programs and services, we are committed to:
- Broadening international awareness
- Supporting international experience
- Providing opportunities in which domestic and international students can engage and learn from one another
These commitments are realized by:
- Holding information sessions regarding programs offered at Renison as well as UW exchange programs
- Promoting and advising international experiences and programs
- Working closely with the Student Success Office and international departments on campus to provide up to date international opportunities to students
- Providing students with resources on seeking funding through Renison or on campus to help them fund their international experiences
- Advising international students on immigration
- Preparing students with pre-departure information before going on international experiences
