He received the B.E. degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the NED University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan, in 1992 and M.A.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada in 2016. He also received M.S in Information, Network and Computer Security from NYIT, USA in 2007 and MISM in Information Systems Management from Higher Colleges of Technology Abu Dhabi,UAE in 2014. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Internet of Things Security from University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada. He served with the Higher Colleges of Technology, Abu Dhabi, UAE as Computer and Network Security Engineer, from 1995 to 2014. His research interests include Internet of Things, Mobile Cloud Computing, IT Security, and Embedded Systems.
