Chenhui Zhang is a PhD student in Sustainability Management at the University of Waterloo. With a strong public policy background and a focus on sustainable development, Chenhui's research integrates materials science and policy to develop innovative frameworks for sustainable growth.

Chenhui holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Chicago, where she specialized in data analytics, environmental and energy policy, and finance. She also earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from Tsinghua University, with a minor in Industrial Engineering.

Chenhui’s academic journey is complemented by experience in environmental management and consulting, with a focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, climate change mitigation, and sustainability analytics. In addition to academic pursuits, Chenhui engages in applied research and consulting, contributing practical solutions to organizations seeking to enhance their sustainability practices.
