About My Research
I am currently enrolled in the Masters of Applied Science in Controls and Automation advised by Dr. James Tung and Dr. Katja Mombaur in the Neural Rehabilitation Engineering and Human Centered Robotics and Machine Intelligence Labs. My Research focus is placed on the interactions that users have with rehabilitative exoskeletons and the implications that they have on the safety of the user's skin safety over both long and short duration use. This is being accomplished through sensor fusion, soft fabric wearable designs and simulations that validate the information that is collected for analysis. A large portion of my research is placed on sensor fusion and the design of a wearable device to collect major sensor data that comes froom exoskeleton use to help classify and provide initial data that can be used for future analysis.
