I am Esha Saha, a PhD student in Applied Mathematics under Giang Tran. I joined in September 2019 and have been a part of the department since then. I am a part of the scientific computing research group. The focus of my research is to explore sparsity in machine learning algorithms. Apart from my research, I love to meet new people, travel and eat good food. I attend most of the department events because it gives me an opportunity to meet new members in the department. This department has been a home to me for almost three years now and although we sit in one of the most oldest buildings in MC, but it definitely does harbour some of the smartest minds!
