Biography
Mohammad received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University in 2011. Since then, he has been working as a teaching and research assistant till he received his Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University in 2014.
He joined the University of Waterloo in 2015 for his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his Ph.D years, he managed to increase his exprience in numerical modelling and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) using the open source CFD package of OpenFOAM as an addition to his former experience with ANSYS fluent during his M.Sc. years.
Also, he received a number of awards from the University of Waterloo for his outstanding performance as a teaching assistant, which made him qualified to get a sessional lecturer position in spring 2019. Mohammad has been granted his Ph.D. Degree in 2019 which was focused in turbulent combustion modeling.
Currently, he works as a post-doctoral fellow in UW under the supervision of Prof. Weckman and Prof. Devaud in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department.
