Welcome to the website of Meenu Kumari!
I completed my PhD in Physics (Quantum Information) at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC), University of Waterloo, Canada in August 2019. I joined IQC as a graduate student in September 2014. Prior to joining IQC, I completed Integrated Master of Science degree (Bachelors + Masters 5 year program) in Physics from National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar in India. In my PhD, I have broadly worked at the interface of quantum information and quantum chaos under the supervision of Dr. Shohini Ghose and Dr. Robert Mann. Here is a link to my PhD thesis Quantum-Classical Correspondence and Entanglement in Periodically Driven Spin Systems.
After completing my PhD, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics from September 2019 to August 2023. Thereafter, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the research group of Dr. Alexandre Cooper-Roy from September 2023 to January 2024. Currently, I am a Research Officer at National Research Council of Canada in the Cryptography and Quantum Computing (CQC) team in the NRC-UWaterloo Collaboration Centre in Waterloo.
