Currently leading a team of researchers, at the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, to develop "Robotic Intelligent Algorithms" for Avidbots Corp, I have over 10 years of research and development experience, all gained in different Canadian and international academic institutions. I developed innovative solutions of industrial oriented projects for many of well recognized industrial partners such as: Canada Department of Defense, King Abdulaziz city of Science and Technology, and currently Avidbots Corp.
During my PhD studies, I mainly focused on autonomous systems and I lead the SMART Lab efforts, at University of Ottawa, on the understanding of autonomous systems in different scenarios. My most exciting work was developing automatic controllers and task allocation algorithms for multi-robot systems using nonlinear automatic control systems and probability theory for modeling. Machine Learning and Deep-Learning techniques are also used to detect targets’ patterns for robotic vision.
During my postgraduate career, I made a successful record of achievements, where I was granted one patent in the USPTO, published 20+ articles and presented my research findings in more than 12 international conferences and workshops.
