Obtained her Ph.D. at the Department of Management Sciences in 2021. Her research focuses on the optimal decision for cancer biology and treatment. In her Ph.D., she specifically studied the problem of optimizing chemotherapy treatment under uncertainties. She used techniques from optimal control theory, stochastic programming, approximate dynamic programming, systems biology to model and solve the research problems. Additionally, she has a keen interest in teaching and obtained a "Certificate in University Teaching" from the University of Waterloo in 2019.
