The Mennonite Scholars and Friends Forum, which takes place annually in conjunction with the American Academy of Religion and Society of Biblical Literature meetings, took place virtually on Friday, 20 November 2020. The Forum this year consisted of a round table conversation on the newly released volume Recovering from the Anabaptist Vision, the first volume in T&T Clark's Studies in Anabaptist Theology and Ethics series managed by our friends at the Institute of Mennonite Studies at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary. While it was disappointing not to be able to gather in person, the virtual format enabled broader participation and we were delighted to have all the editors and contibutors to the volume present as well as roughly 80 participants. The presentations and Q&A sessions were recorded and we are pleased to make those available online.
If the conversation whets your appetite for more and you want to read the book, the Institute of Mennonite Studies has limited copies of Recovering from the Anabaptist Vision available at a discount for $18USD plus shipping, as well as the second volume of their Studies in Anabaptist Theology and Ethics series, Liberating the Politics of Jesus, for $20USD plus shipping, or both together for $36USD plus shipping.
