Outstanding alumni recognized at the President's 60th Anniversary Gala

On December 2, recipients of the 60th Anniversary Alumni Awards were honoured at a gala hosted by University president Feridun Hamdullahpur.

As the University’s pinnacle 60th anniversary celebration event, the Awards recognized 10 outstanding alumni for their personal commitment and citizenship to Waterloo. The event builds on the legacy of the 50th Anniversary Alumni Awards created by the Alumni Council in 2007.

To serve as a memento for each of the recipients, the Alumni Council commissioned artist and alumnus Paul Roorda (BA ’88) to create a unique piece of art.
