Brubacher House sits on the University of Waterloo Environmental Reserve, a 109-hectare area along the Laurel Creek Corridor consisting of sports fields, meadows, mixed swamp forests, wetlands, and Columbia Lake. This reserve provides a scenic landscape for outdoor recreation and a protected habitat for wildlife on the university’s North Campus.
