LEARN

NEW Anatomy 202 course for health-care professionals

Anatomy 202 offers a two-hour, hands-on, anatomical review session for health-care professionals. We welcome new and experienced health care professionals who want to review anatomy using human cadaver donors. Donors have been dissected to demonstrate musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, digestive and nervous systems. A certificate of completion and an accompanying letter are provided for those who would like to submit for continuing education credits. Lab coats and disposable nitrile gloves will be provided. Professional development courses

Faculty of Health alumni can use the promotional code “UWAlumnus” to receive a 20 per cent discount on various non-credit courses and certificates offered by University of Waterloo Professional Development. Currently, Professional Development courses are offered virtually.


In-class/virtual certificates

Learn about more tools and techniques to help achieve your personal and career goals through these certificates. Each certificate comprises three to five courses (each one to four days in length) offered at various times throughout the year. Certain certificates offer a selection of courses to choose from and others have curricula aligned with industry standards set by professional bodies.

Online certificates

Develop new skills, gain practical knowledge and advance your career through these certificates. Each certificate comprises three to four courses online offered every month with no admission requirements and no deadlines. You are allowed to take up to two courses within the same start date.

Individual courses

Various courses can be taken stand-alone or as part of a certificate. There are approximately 50 in-class/virtual courses and approximately 150 online courses.
