Workday is coming to Waterloo

Workday is a cloud-based human resources solution that puts control in the hands of employees and managers.

It simplifies human resource transactions, minimizes paper processes, gives managers more visibility into their workforce, and gives employees easy access to payroll, benefits and other personal HR information.

March update

The project team has been busy working on the design of Workday, building and testing the first of three prototypes. The second prototype will be complete in April, at which time 'end-to-end testing' of prototype 2 will begin, followed by a period of user acceptance testing and feedback.

The ongoing testing and evaluation of the Workday implementation will ensure the needs of the University are met before the January 1, 2019 go-live date. To date, all major milestones have been completed on time.
