Welcome to the first issue of our new e-newsletter, to be published each term. We hope you enjoy this new way to keep you informed of exciting and topical news from Information Systems & Technology (IST). In this issue we have articles that include technology in teaching and learning, an online chat tool for collaborative teams, and what’s next in protection from phishing attacks.
This newsletter is one of a number of initiatives IST is working on, in the area of communications. We also have improvements coming to our website to make it easier to find out what projects IST is working on, and our plans for future initiatives. An annual report is also coming, which looks back at the past year.
