WCMS for Content maintainers (SEW099) moving online

SEW099 is now piloting on LEARN and is scheduled for release May 1, 2018. This will offer site maintainers the option of completing the SEW099 course at a time and location that fits their schedule.

Users will self-register on LEARN and the WCMS Training & Support team will then be in touch with the information and resources needed to complete the course online. Watch the Web Resources site for more information!

Upgrade of identity management system, WatIAM

The replacement of the identity management system known as WatIAM is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 9 at 4:30 p.m. until Thursday, April 12 at 8:00 a.m. While most end-users will not see a significant change, the introduction of SailPoint IIQ technology will bring considerable changes for WatIAM administrators.

Go-live of new Engineering Outreach system, Legend Recreation Software

Working closely with Engineering Outreach, Finance, Procurement, and Information Security Services, IST’s Departmental and Campus Applications (DCA) team completed the implementation of Legend Recreation Software (Legend), an online registration system that allows for greater ease and flexibility when managing accounts and registrations. At Waterloo, Legend will enhance the registration processes for Engineering Science Quest Summer and March Break Camps, with potential to expand to other campus camp programs in the future.
