Joy Liu, a Master's student with the LEAP project, successfully defended her MASc thesis. Her thesis is titled 'Checkered Landscapes: Quantifying Dominant Controls on Nitrogen Legacies and Time Lags along the River Continuum'. Joy completed her research with supervision from Nandita Basu, and guidance from her advisory committee of Kim Van Meter and Philippe Van Cappellen.
