About Water JPI and FACCE JPI
WATER JPI and FACCE JPI are intergovernmental initiatives aiming at strengthening European leadership and competitiveness in Research Development and Innovation, while at the same time harmonising and mobilising National and Regional RDI Programmes.
The Joint Research Programming Initiative on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE) was launched by the European Council in October 2010. Coordinated by INRA, it brings together 21 European and associated countries to increase their research capacities to address the vital challenge of ensuring sufficient production of food, as well as feed, fibres and bio-fuels, in the context of demographic growth and a changing climate
