The third annual LEAP researcher meeting was hosted by University of Copenhgan researchers, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting was held from June 19th-21st and featured presentations from participating researchers from the University of Copenhagen, Stockholm University, the University of Coimbra, and the University of Waterloo.

Summary
During the meeting, researchers discussed ongoing tasks for each work package and planned the upcoming work based on reviews of the mid-term report evaluated by the Joint Programming Commission (JPI). Key points of focus included: updates on each deliverable, discussion for the second phase of focus group studies, reporting from researchers exchanges and planning of upcoming exchanges, conference presentations and publications.

The research team expects to publish results in the near future and present the findings at upcoming conferences. The LEAP project was established under the Water Challenges for a Changing World Joint Programming Initiative (Water JPI) in 2017.
