As a mentor, I was able to connect to multiple young women spanning different STEM disciplines. What stood out to me was their humility and perseverance to be something great. I was able to walk through my career path from being a fellow undergrad to my current professional role, including the shared trials of difficult courses, hard work and pure grit.
