Title

Delocalization in the light matter interaction

Abstract

I will discuss the role of delocalization in the light matter interaction. I will show that the delocalization process of matter can affect processes such as spontaneous emission or excitation of atoms, and I will outline why the delocalization state of matter should also be expected to affect for instance vacuum entanglement harvesting and the quantum channel capacities of the light matter interaction.
