Our Receiving department will assist with scheduling pick ups for large amounts of mail and small freight (i.e. boxes). A courtesy call should be placed to Receiving at 548-255-3562 or email receivin@uwaterloo.ca, when these above normal mail or small freight volumes occur. Receiving will generate a dispatch and Central Stores staff will pick up the goods, at our earliest convenience.
Normal departmental mail and freight volumes will be picked up by Central Stores staff, during scheduled mail or freight runs.
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
