The Climate Institute is currently hiring a project coordinator and communications officer (interim position). Please see below for details on each position.

Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator provides coordination and administrative support for Climate Institute projects and activities, as well as for select large-scale climate change projects led by institute members. The position is a member of the institute’s core team, and will contribute to the implementation of research, training, knowledge mobilization, communications, events, and data management activities. The incumbent will have excellent project management skills and experience, with the ability to support multiple projects at a time.

Communications Officer (Interim)

Reporting to the Managing Director of the Waterloo Climate Institute, the Communications Officer is responsible for: (1) content creation and management of Climate Institute branding, messaging, and communications materials, (2) project management and implementation of communications activities to support the Climate Institute’s communication and strategic objectives, and (3) Advancing the profile and reputation of the Climate Institute and its members through collaborative knowledge mobilization and public relations.
