Students with permanent, temporary or suspected disabilities can now find support resources on Co-operative Education’s accessibility resources webpage. This resource is built to provide support for students with disabilities as they navigate through the co-op process. The new page addresses issues around support and planning for the recruitment process and in the workplace, a video on disclosure and services and tools available to students such as:
- AccessAbility Services – Offers co-op assistance with accommodations, developing support plans or receiving additional services.
- Your Student/Career advisors – provide guidance before and during recruitment as well on the job support
- Third-party recruiting/mentorship support – access specialized support from third-party organizations including Career Edge, Lime Connect, and Specialisterne Canada.
