Better Bail for America at Hult Prize

Entrepreneurship and business competitions have and will continue to be, valuable learning experiences for student entrepreneurs. The Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business would like to acknowledge and congratulate our BET (undergraduate courses); MBET (graduate); alumni; and Enterprise Co-op students on their accomplishments at the various competitions they have competed in since September 2018.

  • Location: Saint Louis

  • Awards: 1st and 3rd

Great Canadian Sales Competition

  • Date: January 2 to February 25, 2019
  • Competitor: Jayne Elford (BET)
  • Award: Top 24 out of 4,206 contestants and will be competing in Toronto on April 4 for the Final Round. 

Apex Business Plan Competition

  • Date: January 26, 2019
  • Location: New Brunswick
  • Competitors: Prefection Labs and Confiro Seating (MBET)
  • Awards: Waterloo won entrepreneurial powerhouse, best business plan, 2nd place overall

Hult Prize

  • Date: November 29, 2018
  • Location: University of Waterloo
  • Winner: PulseHome (BET) will be competing at regionals in Melbourne on April 13.
