World's leading co-op program
With access to 8,000+ employers, you can gain paid, relevant work experience while earning your degree. You'll typically alternate four-month study and work terms, allowing you to explore different careers, develop professional skills, and graduate with up to two years of experience.

Scholarships
International fee-paying students will receive a $10,000 entrance scholarship toward their first year at Waterloo.

- Faculty of Mathematics Global Scholarships: $12,000 to $40,000
- Faculty of Science International Student scholarships: $25,000 to $80,000
- Scholarships for Black students: $1,200 to $40,000
International students are also automatically considered for the hundreds of entrance scholarships available to all new students.
Costs
- First-year tuition fees range from USD$37,000 to USD$54,000.
- Additional expenses (including residence, meal plan, personal expenses, textbooks and supplies) are usually USD$13,300 to USD$24,000.
