Off-campus work hours increased from 20 to 24 hours
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) released a statement on November 15, 2024, declaring that international students in Canada may now work up to 24 hours per week for off-campus employment. This is an increase from the previous limit of 20 hours per week. This change in policy is effective from November 15, 2024 onward.
IRCC announces changes for temporary residence programs
On September 18, 2024, IRCC announced several changes which will impact international students and workers in Canada.

Check your permits and verify your information with an immigration consultant at the International Experience Centre (IEC). You can visit the IEC from 1 - 2 p.m. every weekday from September 3 to September 30, 2024. An immigration consultant will be available to meet with you briefly in the Global Lounge.
