Leading efforts to help kinesiologists and ergonomists learn the fundamentals of digital human modeling using Santos ® Lite.

Members of the University of Waterloo's Occupational Biomechanics and Ergonomics Lab and Brock University's Neuromechanics and Ergonomics Lab will be leading a hands-on workshop to introduce attendees to Santos ® Lite, an affordable, user-friendly digital human model software. The workshop, titled Innovations in Ergonomics—an intro to digital human modeling using Santos, will be offered as part of the University of Waterloo KIN@50 Conference. The workshop will teach attendees how to navigate the software to simulate work environments and how to analyze prospective ergonomic risks associated with those environments using analyzers like the Arm-Force-Field.
