Claim your Waterloo identity
Before you can sign in to Quest, you must claim your Waterloo identity by creating your username and password. You only need to do this once.
To claim your Waterloo identity, you'll need the following information.
- Your last name/family name
- Your first name
- Your 8-digit Waterloo student ID number, e.g., 20123456.
If you're having problems with WatIAM, please send an email to helpdesk@uwaterloo.ca. The Common WatIAM Questions & Solutions web page is very helpful and indicates what to do if you have forgotten your password.
Sign in to Quest
Navigate to the Quest sign in page. Select Sign in. Enter your username@uwaterloo.ca and password.
