JaeEun is a Ph.D. student in System Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction under Dr. Leah Zhang-Kennedy's supervision. Her research interests include privacy and cybersecurity in interactive communication systems as well as educational technology. Her current research explores privacy perception in Child-Robot Interaction.
She holds an MS in Interaction Science from Sungkyunkwan University and a BFA in Fiber Arts from Ewha Womans University in South Korea.
