Jeremy is a current Ph.D. student for statistics in the department of Statistics and Actualarial Science at the University of Waterloo. He is currently supervised by Dr. Greg Rice and Dr. Shoja'eddin Chenouri. He completed his Bachelor of Science at Utah State University in 2018 (Mathematics and Statistics with minors in Finance, Computer Science and Asian Studies) and Master of Science at the University of Utah in 2019 (Electrical and Computer Engineering).
In addition to his academic career, Jeremy has worked at various industry jobs including a fintech startup and a US government defense contractor. While pursuing his degree, he currently works as a consultant at the Statistical Consulting and Survey Research Unit.
Jeremy's current research interests include time series analysis, change point analysis, and functional data analysis.
