Abstract

This paper proposes the resistively loaded dipole antenna for sensing the defect response. The developed antenna characterized in terms of short pulse radiating aspects. The calculated fidelity factor is 0.6 and 0.97 for conventional dipole and resistively loaded dipole antenna, respectively. The healing stages can be monitored by looking at the changes of the reflected pulse using proposed antenna.
