Grad Class Send-off

On March 12, 2019, students, staff, and faculty gathered in Founders Hall of the Hub for the annual Grad Class Send Off to celebrate our newest graduates of the Spring and Fall 2019 convocations. All alumni-to-be got to keep the glass!

On June 13, alumni Ayaz Gullamhussein (top left), BA ’11, Economics, Brian Lipskie (top right), BA ’85, Economics, and Dennis Huss (left) MA ’92, Psychology, spoke to students about their careers in the financial sector, and shared tips for saving money, even when students feel they have little to save.

That’s not all. Earlier this year, Women’s Studies, Legal Studies, and English held career panels with their alumni sharing experience and tips with students.

Alumni Theatre Night: The Seagull

November 12, 2019

Theatre and Performance (Department of Communication Arts) presents Anton Chekov’s The Seagull, directed by Matt White. Tom Stoppard’s translation remains true to the original play, a tragi-comedy that exposes the absurdity of a world where grown-ups behave like children, and the next generation grows up having to find their own way.

Brain Health: Alzheimer’s, dementia and concussions

Alumni and friends are invited to an informative evening in Toronto this fall with experts discussing diagnostics, support and solutions for brain health. Topics include Alzheimer’s, dementia and concussions. Following this Toronto date, the event will take place in Vancouver in January 2020, and in Waterloo in March 2020.
