Hamed Majedi
"Semiconductor Nanowire Quantum Dot Molecule for Photon Triplet Generation"

Hamed Majedi is a professor in a department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo affiliated with Department of Physics and Astronomy. He is a member of Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) and affiliate member of Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (PI) at Waterloo, ON, Canada. He has held a visiting associate professor at Harvard University from 2012 to 2014 where he was collaborating with Prof. Marko Loncar and teaching courses in Quantum Electronics and Photonics, applied Quantum Mechanics and Modern Optics in Applied Physics Program. He has been a faculty member at IQC from 2005 to 2014. He has been the primary guest editor in special issue of "Superconducting Quantum Electronics & Photonics" in IEEE Journal of Selected topics in Quantum Electronics for March/April 2015 issue. He is elected to be in the editorial board of Nature Scientific Report from 2015.
