Serge Charebois
"Development of an Infrared Imager"

Serge A. Charlebois received his B.Sc. (1994), M.Sc (1996) and Ph. D (2002) in physics from Université de Sherbrooke (Québec, Canada) in semiconductor device and low temperature physics. He did his postdoctoral fellowship at Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden).
He was appointed professor in electrical engineering at Université de Sherbrooke in 2003 where he pursues research activities in micro and nanofabrication technologies applied to low temperature and superconductor physics, to semiconductor and THz device. He is member of the Interdisciplinary Institute for Technological Innovation - 3IT - and of the Institut Quantique.
He collaborates actively in the 3D integrated SPAD-CMOS detector system in which he leads the microfabrication, TSV and 3D assembly activities.
He has is involved in industrial 3D integration projects for infrared imaging sensor and RF MEMS with Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor.
