What can you do with an iPhone and prism glasses? Actively engage students and discuss excited and ground state electrons. Alex Cifuentes and Sydney Mason, two students from Josephine Parlagreco’s class at Mepham High School, Bellmore, New York wanted to see what would happen if they held the prism lenses over the iPhone camera lens. This was the photo they captured when the camera was pointed at a white light, a simple flashlight.
