Sharing our expertise

For the past 23 years the University of Waterloo has been named Canada’s Most Innovative University by Maclean’s magazine.

Further, our faculty are globally renowned for transformative research that makes our community, and the world, a better place. We invite our community to access our research expertise and world-class facilities in a number of ways.

“Through the support of partners like the University of Waterloo, the Chamber Health Care Resources Council has recruited 166 new doctors to this community since 1998. At the same time, by establishing a Health Sciences Campus in downtown Kitchener, and partnering with McMaster University, the University of Waterloo has played a key role in addressing the critical shortage of physicians and pharmacists in our community.”

IAN MCLEAN, President and CEO, The Greater Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber of Commerce
