Meet Shashank Joshi, a Master of Mathematics (MMath) student in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, where he's delving deep into the fascinating world of decentralized systems, particularly focusing on blockchain technology.
With a solid foundation laid during his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) studies in Computer Science at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Shashank's passion for blockchain extends beyond its theoretical underpinnings to exploring its practical applications across various domains. His research endeavors encompass aspects such as consensus mechanisms, security protocols, and the societal implications of decentralized systems.
Shashank's academic journey has been complemented by practical experiences, including his role as a Mitacs GRI scholar at the University of Fraser Valley, where he contributed to the strategic analysis of blockchain applications in the agriculture industry in Canada and India.
