MMath Student

ShikharShikhar is an MMath Computer Science student at UWaterloo supervised by Sebastian Fishmeister. His research focus includes applications of machine learning and time series analysis to detect side-channel attacks on embedded systems and use natural language processing techniques to detect anomalies in CAN bus messages. He also works as a Computer Vision Engineer at Labforge Inc.

Prior to joining UWaterloo, he completed his undergraduate studies majoring in Computer Science at New York University. While at NYU, he was supervised by Damon McCoy researching online political advertisements on social media and by Justin Cappos to secure over-the-air updates for automobiles.
