Daniel
received
his
BSc.
in
Engineering
from
the
University
of
Applied
Sciences
Upper
Austria
in
Wels
after
completion
of
the
Automation
Engineering
programme
in
2010.
His
thesis
topic
was
on
quality
control
for
motor
production
at
Rotax
(Bombardier).
Immediately
after
graduating,
he
started
his
Masters
at
the
same
university.
After
a
5
year
hiatus
working
as
an
Applications
Engineer
in
industrial
robotics
he
finished
the
curriculum
and
is
currently
doing
research
as
an
exchange
researcher/student
at
the
ESG
Lab
at
the
University
of
Waterloo
for
his
Masters
thesis.
Daniel's
hobbies
include
all
sorts
of
electronics
DIY
projects
especially
with
hifi
audio
and
diy
carpentry
in
the
spirit
of
reuse
and
recycle.
