Biography
Wallace
Wu
received
his
BASc
degree
in
computer
engineering
at
the
University
of
Waterloo
in
2010,
with
distinction
and
was
on
the
dean's
honour
list.
Wallace
has
had
experience
working
in
wireless
communications
and
embedded
device
driver
software
at
Research
in
Motion
(RIM)
Ltd.
and
QUALCOMM
Incorporated
in
Bluetooth
and
UTMS/CDMA
modem
data
services
respectively.
He
has
also
been
a
research
assistant
for
A.U.G.
Signals,
a
company
specializing
in
DSP
solutions,
and
for
the
Coding
and
Signal
Transmission
Laboratory
at
the
University
of
Waterloo.
Wallace's
research
interest
in
dynamic
real-time communication
scheduling
in
embedded
systems
stem
from
his
working
experiences
at
RIM
and
QUALCOMM.
In
his
spare
time,
he
likes
to
play
the
violin
and
piano.
He
was
the
concertmaster
of
the
orchestra@uwaterloo
throughout
his
undergraduate
studies
at
University
of
Waterloo
(2005-2010)
and
performs
on
a
frequent
basis
around
the
Kitchener-Waterloo
area.
