Students

The Problem Pitch Competition invites students to research a significant real-world problem and pitch their findings to a panel of judges. Funding is awarded to teams that demonstrate the most thorough understanding of their chosen problem.

Who can participate?

The competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.

How it works

  1. Choose a problem area and submit your application. Clearly identify your chosen problem category in the form.
  2. Applications are reviewed by the Problem Lab team. Selected semi-finalist teams are invited to move forward.
  3. Pitch your research to a panel of judges. Funding is awarded to teams with the deepest problem understanding.
