  • If you are a current University of Waterloo student; you are not eligible to register for courses through this employee enrolment process.
  • If you are an employee seeking enrolment in degree studies and have never attended the University of Waterloo: Review the information for part-time/online studies.
  • If you are an employee and have graduated with a degree (undergraduate or graduate) from the University of Waterloo: Submit a readmission form (for post-degree studies).
• Course enrolment using this process does not permit or guarantee future enrolment or admission to the University of Waterloo. If you have enrolled in a course using this process in the past, please contact an academic advisor regarding further enrolment.
• For course audit and course enrolment options below, these courses become part of a permanent academic record. You are responsible for following all academic and financial deadlines, as well as academic regulations as outlined in the Undergraduate Studies Academic Calendar active for the applicable term.
• You may qualify for the Employee Tuition Benefit.
• You will be registered in a non-degree program. If you are interested in pursuing degree studies in the future, be aware that performance in these courses may affect your application to the University.

Future term application deadlines are determined by the last day of the course Add Period.

   • restricted from completing graded course elements

   • no tuition fees apply
3. Course Audit
   • access to course materials in LEARN
   • access to course discussions in LEARN
   • permission to attend in-person classes (if applicable)
   • restricted from completing graded course elements
   • course will appear on official student record with a grade of AUD
   • undergraduate tuition fees and part-time incidental fees apply
   • course withdrawals must adhere to the dates and deadlines as outlined in the Undergraduate Studies Academic Calendar
   • Note: Course Audit is not available for courses in the faculties of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science
4. Course Enrolment
