On March 28th, 2022 at 6:00 PM (EST), our first speaker event of the year will feature Mide Olatoye from Microsoft. The UW HFES Student Chapter welcomes back UW Alumni Mide Olatoye to give a talk about her experiences finding full-time work in user research after graduating from the SYDE MASc program. After her talk, we will have a Q&A period with Mide. You can anonymously submit your questions before the event here, but we will also take questions live.

Speaker Bio:

Mide Olatoye is a User Researcher dedicated to creating user-focused digital products and services. She has received extensive training in human factors and design beginning from her undergraduate years through to her Masters from the department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Over the past 4 years, she has worked for and handled various clients in healthcare and industry including Nestle, Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), Sunnybrook, and SickKids hospitals. She currently works as a User Researcher at Microsoft where she focuses on creating the best digital experiences for customers who own and manage very small businesses.
