Please use the following formatting listed below and in the provided templates:
- Font Style: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12pt
- Margins: 2.54 cm or 1" all around
- Number of Pages: 1
- Document Type: Microsoft Word
- Abstract Type:
- Completed Study - data collection and analysis are complete by the date of the conference
- Proposal/In-Progress Study - proposed, pilot, or in-progress work with some data collection and/or analysis completed
Abstract Templates
When saving your file, please use the following format: Surname_University_IUW2023.docx.
For example, Smith_Waterloo_IUW2023.docx.
Only one submission will be accepted for each student presenter.

Please submit your abstract using the Submission Form.
The following information is required when submitting your abstract:
- Abstract in Word Document Format (.docx, .doc, etc.)
- Short title (i.e., 40 characters with spaces)
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Institution or Organization
- Preferred Presentation Type (Podium or Poster)
- Presentation Mode (In-Person or Virtual)
- Completed or Proposal / In-Progress Study
- Your Position or Title
- Current Department / Program
- Year in current program
- Name of your Research Lab
- Questions, Comments, or Concerns
