Podium Presentations
The guidelines for oral presentations are listed below. Please practice your presentation timing so that you do not go over time to ensure the conference stays on schedule.
- Presentation Length: 7 minutes
- Q&A Period: 2-3 minutes
Please ensure that your slides are in PowerPoint format.
Email or share your slides with uw-hfes@uwaterloo.ca by 11:59 p.m. (EST) on September 22nd, 2023, or submit them to our submission form here so we can load them onto the podium laptop for the next day. Presenters will be provided with a microphone and a clicker.
Poster Presentations
Please design your poster in portrait orientation, with a maximum width of 90 cm and a maximum height of 120 cm (3x4 ft).
We will pin posters to display boards in the conference area. The pins will be provided.
