The University of Waterloo Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Student Chapter is preparing to host the second Professor Lecture Series event of the Term on Thursday, February 25th from 16:00 - 17:00 (EST) titled: "You, Me and the Technology" - A Professor Lecture Series.
Our speaker is Dr. Shi Cao, a Systems Design Engineering Professor from the Human Optimization Modelling Lab (HOMLab). His research projects include human performance and situation awareness modeling, new technologies in aviation training, and the applications of virtual and augmented reality. He has developed cognitive models and human performance simulation systems that can be used to model and predict human performance and other human factors constructs in various work domains such as transportation and human-computer interaction.
Dr. Shi Cao is also our Faculty Advisor at the UWaterloo HFES Student Chapter.
