The University of Waterloo Human Factors and Ergonomics Society Student Chapter is preparing to host the first episode of Student Research Rounds as part of the series titled "You, Me and the Technology". This event is the follow-up of Professor Lecture Series - Episode 1 featuring Dr. Catherine Burns which was held on January 29, 2021. We will be exploring some of the current Human Factors research conducted at Advanced Interface Design Lab under the supervision of Dr. Catherine Burns. The students will speak on their individual research which spans human factors topics in defense, finance, healthcare, automated vehicles, human interaction with AI, and power plant control.
The event will be held online using Microsoft Teams on February 4th, 2021 at 4-5PM EST. It will involve brief talks from each student at the lab followed by a Q&A session.
